Samsung and Xiaomi outperformed Apple in India: capture 60% of smartphone market

South Korean company Samsung has been running on the smartphones market in India for the last several years. Take a look at the second quarter of 2018, even here Samsung has kept its headline. Along with this, there is another smartphone company that is capturing itself in the Indian smartphone market, just like Samsung. This is none other, China's smart phone maker company Shamoi. This company has also acquired its hold in the international market. Along with the launch of Shawomie M3, about four years ago, we started our innings in the Indian market. Shomomi's market share in India is 30% just like Samsung.Samsung-Shawmy's share in the smartphone market is 60%

According to the latest market research report of Canalis, the market research company of Singapore, Samsung and Shawmy's share in the smartphone market in India is 60 percent. This is a remarkable achievement for both brands. Every new day, due to new Chinese companies coming to India, the competition in the market has become stiff. Especially brands such as OnePlus, Oppo and Honor are doing well in the mid-range segment. Last year, Samsung and Shomei together occupied 43% of the market in the second quarter.

Canalis's report says that Shawami has made good progress compared to the second quarter of last year. It has jumped 30 percent market share in the second quarter of this year, leaping from 18 percent market share in the second quarter of last year. So this quarter was also very useful for Samsung. Rather it can be called the Korean company's best quarter after 2015. Samsung launched a smart smartphone equipped with a modern feature to match Shyomi. Canalis savvy Tunan Wen believes that this is why Samsung has done so well in this quarter. At the same time, he points out that Samsung is paying special attention to its camera and imaging capability to overtake Shayami.Sales from Shyomi's Budget Redmi Smartphone, Doubled Shaomi has introduced many budget phones in the sensitive market of India in terms of price.

Unlike Samsung, the Shoomai budget has certainly made a bigger place in the handset market. On the other hand, Samsung has launched several mid-range and flagship smartphones in the past and has come forward in the market. Its J-series line smartphone also played an important role in the success of the company.Shaomi Redmi and Samsung J2 Pro's Best Sellers in the second quarter

Apparently, the success that Samsung has achieved in the second quarter is due to the J series smartphone. In fact, Samsung J2 Pro is the best quarter best-seller phone. During this time only 23 lakh handsets of J2 Pro smartphones were sold. Speaking of Shoomi, 33 lakh handsets of the ultra budget phone Redmi 5A were purchased during this quarter.India's smartphone market rises 22% in second quarter

The last quarter for the apple is not very good. So in the second quarter, Oppo and Vivo did their own market share. And this is all due to the bias of Apple on the high-end market. Most Indians are more attracted to the different range of affordable smartphones. In the last quarter, according to an estimate, apple iphone sales fell by 50 percent.

Whereas OPO and Vivo were bought 31 lakhs and 36 million smartphones, respectively. Smartphone sales of another smartphone brand ASUS also increased. In the last quarter, ASUS's smartphone sales were three times higher than before. Seeing this, the second quarter of 2018 was very good for India's smartphone market. During this, smartphones sold 22 percent more.
